James Hateley tackles John O' Groats to Lands End on a bike

Accompanied by three others, I am planning to cycle the staggering 874 miles from Land's End to John O' Groats. The ride which we are scheduled to complete in July will take approximately two weeks. Peter Rogers and John Turner run from John O’Groats to Land’s End - On route to a Cure for Parkinson’s

Sorry to disappoint but this is definitely not a race - but it is a serious challenge - and our progress will be well worth following. Starting on St George’s Day (April 23rd) we plan to run 30 miles a day to cover the distance in 29 days, crossing the finish line, at Land’s End, on 21st May.
